You can actively promote the election of Democrats at all levels of government by joining or renewing your membership in the Longboat Key Democratic Club now.

As a member of the LBKDC, you –

Bolster the efforts of Democrats in Sarasota and Manatee counties, as well as Florida-wide, in their fight for an economy that works for everyone, racial and environmental justice, and access to voting, health care, and quality education.

Contribute much-needed financial support to grassroots groups. In the past year, we’ve helped fund bilingual mailings and other key efforts to get out the vote in the Latino community, voter registration in Sarasota’s Black community of Newtown, the Manatee Environmental Caucus, and much more.

And enjoy solidarity with like-minded people at a time in history when we all need to draw strength from each other. Our monthly speaker events – all of which include lively Q&A sessions, whether in person or via Zoom – bring us together for stimulation and affirmation.

It takes commitment, time, and funds to promote the values you and I share. Now our attention must be laser-focused on upcoming elections at all levels of government.
