2026-2027 Season

The Longboat Key Democratic Club in Sarasota, Florida works to elect Democrats while educating our community on vital issues.

The Club presents a successful speaker series at in-person luncheons and by Zoom. Our series has become a leading forum in Southwest Florida for prominent thinkers, activists and policy makers to share their ideas with our influential audience.

Recent speakers include Heather Cox Richardson, Rick Wilson of the Lincoln Project, New York Times columnist Frank Bruni and Martin Baron, former executive editor of the Washington Post, as well as numerous Florida political figures

In 2025, we offered our members and supporters the opportunity to sponsor our key activities.

We enjoyed great success and we thank all the generous sponsors of our 2025-2026 events program.

Now we turn to the 2026-2027 event program that starts in November 2026 and runs until October 2027.

Once again, we invite our members and supporters to step forward and sponsor these popular events.

Single Program Sponsorships can be shared between two sponsors.
Each "sharing" sponsor may purchase 1 additional head table ticket for their guest, if needed.
