NEIGHBOR TO NEIGHBOR
N2N
A Rapidly Growing Grassroots Network
Something Powerful Is Happening Across
Longboat Key & Sarasota
Neighbors are organizing neighbors — one building, one street, one community at a time — to make sure every Democrat, No Party Affiliated voter (NPA), and like-minded Republican stays informed, engaged, and ready to vote.
And it’s growing quickly.
Already, volunteers in 26 neighborhoods and communities have joined this expanding network. These are on Longboat Key and in the “condoscape” of downtown Sarasota.
Here’s how it works:
A trusted volunteer (YOU) becomes your Neighborhood Liaison, the local leader for your building, neighborhood, or community. Together, we create a people-powered communication network that cuts through misinformation, confusion, and isolation.
Our team gathers and shares timely information via email on:
-
Voting laws and election updates
-
Key local, state, and national races
-
Important legislation and public issues
-
Volunteer opportunities and events
-
Actions neighbors can take right now
Now that most many residents who vote here have traveled elsewhere for the summer, we can easily stay in touch with them by email. That makes it easy for everyone.
As a Neighborhood Liaison, you’ll help keep your community connected and informed.
You won’t be doing this alone. You’ll receive guidance, updates, and support from the Longboat Key Democratic Club leadership team whenever questions arise.
Most importantly, this effort is built on something stronger than politics alone: trust between neighbors.
-
People want reliable and timely information to cut through the “noise” of our times.
-
People want connection.
-
People want to know they are not alone.
-
And they will thank you for stepping forward.
You do not need to live on Longboat Key — or even vote in Florida — to help. You can also partner with a friend or neighbor and work together as a team.
This is grassroots organizing at its most personal and most effective.
-
One neighbor at a time.
-
One building at a time.
-
One community at a time.
