According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, Florida has the second highest number of known hate groups in the United States. A number of them have a significant presence in the Tampa Bay Area. Some of their members have been indicted for participation in the January 6 Insurrection. Many are still active in our area. Learn who they are and what they stand for.
For more than fifty years, the Anti-Defamation League has been in the national forefront of the battle against hate groups. Through his involvement in the ADL, David Millstone has been actively involved in that fight -- as chair of several committees and member of the National Executive Committee. He is also the Chair of the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee Heller Community Relations Committee.
