Tuesday, October 11: Voter registration deadline
Monday, October 24 through Sunday, Nov. 6: Early voting
Saturday, October 29, 5 pm: Deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot
Tuesday, November 8: Election Day, polls open 7am - 7pm
Tuesday, November 8: Completed vote-by-mail ballots must be received in the elections office by 7pm
Vote By Mail (VBM)
Vote-by-mail ballots have been mailed by the Supervisor of Elections (SOE) in both Manatee and Sarasota Counties. Before you return your VBM ballot, please consider our suggestions before you fill it out -- especially for local candidates and referendum issues that may not have been well publicized.

When you are ready to return your VBM ballot:
Check for your pre-printed name on the back of the return envelope.
Sign your name as it is pre-printed on the envelope.
Place two (2) Forever stamps or $.84 postage.
Mail your ballot early to avoid postal delays so it will arrive by 7pm on Election Day.
Or drop off your ballot at your county's election office no later than 7 pm on November 8 or at any Sarasota or Manatee County early voting site.
If you are not registered to receive a VBM ballots, you can do so until
October 29.
